JM – DRP Project leader. Company Type - Manufacturing. Company Size: Medium.

“We have used GO.RECOVER to create and maintain our corporate disaster recovery plan for two full cycles.  It provided a thorough step by step procedure for us to produce a plan that has been both usable and appreciated by our executives.  The plan we produced from it received rave reviews from our auditors as well.”

KL – Manager of DRP: Company Type -  Consumer Products Manufacturing. Company Size: Very Large.

"I worked with Persson Associates for the past 7 years.  I have used their products for a number of projects.  I have found them easy to understand, straight forward and the final products were highly acceptable to corporate management.   A word that is often used by many, is "painless".  That's what you need to have in a tool when you work through a process that can seem to be overwhelming at times.  Persson Associates take a complex process, boils it down to a workable, painless, step-by-step process that everyone can understand."

JS – BCP Manager: Company Type -  Real Estate. Company Size: Large.

My organization has used GO.RECOVER software tools since 2003 and we found the software/methodology to be logical, straight-forward, and meets business continuity and disaster recovery needs.  After researching the various solutions/providers/methodologies in BC/DR, we have discovered that GO.RECOVER is a cost effective solution/strategy and it's an essential component in my companies business continuity and disaster recovery programs.  We are better organized and better prepared for unforseen events.

SR – BCP Administrator: Company Type -  Real Estate. Company Size: Large.

As a new Business Continuity Administrator, I found these disaster recovery tools to be easy to use for both myself and the areas within our organization that are developing their plans.  The tools allow easy transition from Business Impact Analysis into Business Continuity Planning.  While easy to use, they are much more comprehensive than other software tools currently out in the market.

RM – CIO: Company Type -  Executive Recruiting. Company Size: Medium.

After evaluating several options for implementing a Disaster Recovery and Business Resumption plan for our company I chose to work with Jan Persson and the Go.Recover tools. This decision was based first on Jan's background in Disaster Recovery and secondly on the cost effectiveness of the solution. We were able to walk the firm step by step through the process of building a plan in a very timely fashion. This was due primarily to how straight forward and comprehensive the tool is to use.

RR – DRP/BCP Consultant: Company Type -  DRP/BCP Consulting: Company Size: Small

The GO.RECOVER suite of products provides a cost effective solution template that guides you through the plan development process.  They logically identify the critical resources that are recovered in a plan.  This tool covers all the areas that are required for a good recovery plan.  Highly recommended.

MM – Director IT Security & DRP: Company Type -  Consumer Products. Company Size: Very Large.

“We were able to use the base BRP materials to build a simplified pandemic plan without incremental cost or addition of yet another format for our business to work with. This saved us significant time and costs as we started up the pandemic planning team.’

“There is a simplicity to the planning materials that makes it so easy for the business users that once they see it they ‘get it’ during the first workshop and have to admit that there really is no excuse for not completing the required materials. This has been true with every group, including international teams, so far.”

“The hardest part of the whole program is scheduling the meetings and getting people to show up the first time. Once they do show up, business users realize it isn’t rocket science and there are no technical roadblocks to getting a plan together – only organizational – and the program helps address that by splitting things into very manageable chunks.”

WH – Computer Center Manager of Operations and DRP: Company Type -  Real Estate/Renting/Condo Mgmt, Company Size: Large

The best BCP plans are those that are easy to follow and simple enough for people to understand, but thorough enough to make sure all the required items are in the plan. These documents are very easy follow and helped us standardize the BCP plans across the multiple departments. The training workshops were easy to perform since the sections in the documents are the same for all departments. The documents have enough flexibility to allow the different departments to add their department specific needs while keeping a standard across the different departments. The BCP plans are tested on a regular basis and the test section makes it easy for the different departments to join in for their test.

TL – Manager of Information Services: Company Type -  Law Firm. Company Size: Small.

Our firm was not unlike many other companies out there in that we had NO
Disaster Recovery or Business Continuity plans.  After getting quotes from
several different companies, we found the easy to follow methodology and
pricing from Persson and Associates to be the best fit for our firm.  For a
fraction of the cost of other companies, we now have a plan that is easy to
maintain and build upon.  In addition, the pocket guide I carry with me at
all times, provides a sort of security blanket in that I have the
information I need at my fingertips whenever I may need it.

KM – Consultant Supporting Complete DRP Update:
Company Type -  Consulting. Company Size: Small.

It is impossible for me to imagine how a Disaster Recovery plan would be created without a guide such as GO.RECOVER-I/T . It would be akin to constructing a building, "seat of the pants", without a blueprint.  However, GO.RECOVER-I/T. is much more than a blueprint. The template approach to DRP development eliminates the need to start from scratch but is very flexible so the plan can be tailored to meet every unique requirement.

I have been impressed by the ease in which we have been able to leverage existing documentation to become an integral part of the DR plan.

I think that if one’s DRP experience is limited, there is a high probability that, should a disaster occur, you will learn of regretful omissions during the recovery.  As we progressed through the development process, it became very clear that GO.RECOVER-I/T. represented a great wealth of DRP knowledge and experience. There are so many considerations to be made, it is comforting to know that someone else has thought about what they are.
